The idea is simple: I earn a time credit by doing
something for you. It doesn’t matter what that “something” is. You turnaround and earn a time credit doing something for someone else. For example, an hour of gardening equals an hour of child-care equals an hour of yoga instruction equals an hour of home repair equals an hour of teaching someone to speak French. When you offer a service you earn a time credit and when you receive a service a time credit is deducted from your account. It is a way to receive what you need and desire, share your talents and skills, and create and support a local economy based on human capital all while building community through relationships!
